Upcycling Art Challenge ~ Bottle Cap Donations
MHS Art students will be working in conjunction with Sustainable Moorestown & the Sustainable Moorestown Creative Arts Committee to partake in The 2016 Upcycling Art Challenge. The focus this year will be to bring awareness on the townships inability to recycle plastic bottle caps. Art students will be creating art primarily using bottle caps to be featured in the annual art show in June. Cap Collections will be made during lunches in provided containers or bring bagged caps to Ms. Paparone in F101.
Project Graduation 2016
Moorestown adopted Project Graduation 28 years ago as an annual community sponsored event. This all-night, drug & alcohol free graduation celebration intends to keep our high school graduates and community safe. This year on June 22, 2016, immediately following the graduation ceremony, our students will leave the high school on buses that will promenade down Main Street on their way to "secret" locations. Committee members & school staff volunteers will be waiting to help them enjoy a night with friends, delicious food, fun games and prize giveaways! This most valued and honored tradition in our town is completely funded through the generosity of parents, alumni, community members, local businesses, Home & School and Moorestown Education Foundation. We hope that you will choose to support PG with a tax-deductible donation. For online donations, please visit www.mhsprojectgraduation.com or mail a check payable to MEF / Project Graduation to Moorestown PG, c/o Moorestown High School, 350 Bridgeboro Rd., Moorestown, NJ 08057. If you have any questions, please contact Lynn Rohrbach at 609-206-3687 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
